Herstory is a pun based on the word history most notably used by the most famous and succesful drag queen RuPaul herself on her television show ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’. Herstory is typically used in instances of something being done for the first time.

RuPaul: “For the first time in Drag Race Herstory…”

RuPaul: “I’m going to use the trap door”
