A watertight sleeve, made of cellophane plastic and closed at one end, into which flower stems are inserted for safe transport, e.g. after purchasing at a store. Resembles a condom for flowers; the etymology is "flower" + "condom"

When you buy a bouquet at Trader Joe's, they always put the stems into a flondom before bagging it.
