Any photograph so hideously over processed through the misuse of HDR manipulation that it can be deemed to be guilty of 'EyeBall Rape"

Having spent a small fortune on a DSLR the rookie urban explorer felt that he needed to post-process his shots to look like Scooby Doo cartoons in an epic HDR/ EBR (EyeBall Rape) fest.

Mk1 eyeball

Short for "Mark One Eyeball". Refers to using unaided vision to spot something, as opposed to binoculars, radar, etc. Commonly used by military internet know it alls to confuse people in an argument.

Actually you could overwhelm a CBG's defenses with about twenty five small craft attacking from all points of the compass due to the in ability of Ageis to lock onto a small target effectively in the sea clutter. Most confrontations in the Persian Gulf have been observed and started by lookouts using the MK1 eyeball.

eyeball test

To scan over something or someone quickly; to measure without using any tools other than the naked eye; guessing; approximating. A term often used in sports scouting to see if a player or team passes muster without looking at any metrics.

We passed on that short receiver because he didn't pass the ball test.

I know that actress just walked in off the street, but but she passes my eyeball test. Get her signed and to the studio pronto!

I left a blind date before I even sat down. She didn't pass my eyeball test.

That presentation needs to be reformatted to read better. Its simply doesn't pass an eyeball test.

The Hairy Eyeball

A dirty or angry look. Can also be a flirty look. To give someone the hairy eyeball you close your eyes half way and look through your eyelashes.

Back in the sixties if you were aggravated with somebody, especially someone from New Jersey, you would give them the hairy eyeball.

eyeballing

Basically the same as eyeballin. To look at something with extreme interest.

Also, the act of eyeballing something is to measure or weigh something without any tools.
(Not necessarily refering to anything illegal or obscene)

"Dude! You see those chicks eyeballing your ride?"

"Lemmie see. I'm eyeballing it. Looks like 4 1/2 feet from sofa to wall....where's my tape measure? Yep, it'll fit!"
