1.) A porn magazine issued from 1980-1989 that is looked at while masturbating. 2.) Slang term for porn magazines from the 1980s. 3.) A combination of 1980s (eighties) and masturbating (baities).

Shady way of announcing a pair of eights in poker to sound like "aces", in hopes that your opponent will fold or muck their cards and let you take the pot.

(Both players reluctant to show their hands at the end...)
Josh: "Pair of nines."
Sue: "Eightses." (winning expression)
(Josh returns cards to dealer unshown before he actually looks at hers.)
Josh: "Dude, I had you beat! I thought you said aces."
Sue: "Nope, eightses. You mucked, sucka."

dark eighties

The dark eighties refers to the period of time in popular culture, between 1983 and 1990, when there was very little original thought occured. There was a mass market culture ruled by the common denominator.

For some reason bands like Wham! were actually popular during the dark eighties.

Eighties TV

A TV with a 7 inch screen and 85 inch console usually made out of cheap immitaiion wood and fashioned into some hideous design involving pillars. Always equiped with a UHF analog dial for channel changing and a two screw UHF input jack which is not cable ready.

Hey wanna throw that eighties TV into that wood chipper.
