The word "Dogurt" comes from the word "Doggus", with the latter word, doggus, now extinct. The word is used by me and my older brother to describe our dog, because she is so silly and stupid

A triple portmanteau of: Vacation, staying home and eating out (degustation).

Thus explaining that you are not only staying home over a holiday period but eating out at your favourite restaurants.

This Christmas holiday, instead of going away, we are spending the money on dinner at all our favourite restaurants. It's a degustaycation if you will.
