girl-cott

A female euphemism to the word boycott. It means to abstain from or act together in abstaining from using, buying, or dealing with as an expression of protest or disfavor or as a means of coercion.

Although if the women organizations that used this term had any sense, they'd realize that 1) they're being just as sexist by using such wording and 2) the word boycott was coined after people protested Englishman Charles C. Boycott, and has nothing to do with gender relations.

The Women & Girls Foundation decided to "girl-cott" the company after they found their products to be offensive towards women.

Cottagecore, also known as farmcore and countrycore, is inspired by a romanticized interpretation of western agricultural life. It is centered on ideas of simple living and harmony with nature. Themes associated with cottagecore include self-sufficiency, baking, and caring for people. While the aesthetic is prevalent on several social media sites, such as on Instagram and more recently TikTok, the community notably prospers on Tumblr.
