An Ice Cream Churner is when one has become so use to not working and rolling around on the couch smoking darts that the body has become like that of a "Ice Cream Churner". Rolling around and around, smoke coming from the mouth, as well as verbal banter. Ice Cream Churner's have been known to fall asleep in seconds and uncontrollable utter threats during extended periods of sleep.

Look at Hicey, he's been rolling around on that couch so long he's become an Ice Cream Churner.

noun: Churn is used when referring to 'churn rate'. Churn rate or churn, is the percentage of people that stop using or subscribing to a service within a certain time frame. For a business to be profitable, its growth rate must exceed its churn. As well as customer churn, there is revenue churn.
verb: These customers that have left have 'churned'.

Calculating churn can be simple. To find the percentage of customers that have churned, take the number of customers you have lost during a time frame, for example a month, and divide it by the number of customers you had at the beginning of that month.

churnalism

Term coined by author Nick Davies to describe poor practices of modern day journalists who "churn" or recycle news stories off the wire or internet without appropriate critical investigation.

Where once journalists were seen travelling out and about in the search for facts, a large majority are now, literally, chained to their desks waiting for the next major scoop; eager to be the first to report on the topic and thus draw traffic to their news sites... this is churnalism.
