similar to a walkabout, it is a spiritual journey in which a person wanders alone into the wilderness with no particular destination until they find some deeper meaning to their lives. In this case, the journey is taken by bike instead of by foot.
It does not necessarily have to be in complete wilderness, it can include biking through populated areas, but must remain a solo journey with minimal human contact.

Councils give the impression that they are producing improvements to cycling without actually producing improvements to cycling.
Or a politician is pictured on a bike or has a profile picture of them on a bike, and they describe themselves as a 'keen cyclist' when everyone knows they are just there for a photo opportunity and don't want to improve cycling safety.
