Green Arrow of Death

When programming with Microsoft Visual Basic, if there is an error with your code this will point to the flawed part and highlight the text in green. It basically means you really messed something up.

I declared my variable as an integer instead of a string and so I got the Green Arrow of Death.

Then I took an arrow to da knee!

One of the most funny but overused video game quotes ever! Originating from the smash hit skyrim by Bethesda, there is a single guard that states "I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee!". This guard cannot adventure any longer because in medieval times, the difficult techniques required to fix a shattered kneecap did not exist. This is assuming it was a barbed arrow shot my a medieval bow, which was common practice then, it would have had to be pushed all the way through his knee because those arrows were triangle shaped and could only go one way without permanently ruining his knee. So he could no longer adventure. There is a game theory video detailing it further.

verbal death arrow

1. An innocuous comment made during conversation showing surprise at a celebrity's continued existence. This comment will lead to said celebrity's death within a week. A verbal death arrow will never miss entirely. Sometimes a celebrity will survive the arrow sustaining only injury or illness. While other times the arrow will miss and strike an unsuspecting celebrity.

2. A similar comment made about a celebrity couple's continued relationship which will inevitably lead to their separation.

1a. I can't believe (celebrity's name) is still alive.
1b. Chrissy launched the verbal death arrow at him.

2. They're still together after 10 years, amazing.

The Dollar arrow is placing dollar bills on the stage of a strip club in the shape of an arrow and pointing to an individual wanting extra attention from the dancers.
