Yent

One of the highest praises. Used to describe a gentleman. Only the most deserving can be called a yent.

That man knows how to treat a lady. He is one fine yent. We all wish we could be like him.

My brother walked a drunk girl home, tucked her in, ordered her jimmy johns to arrive at approximately 11am the next morning, and then he left. He's such a yent.

Yent Wee

Yent Wee is a term commonly used on Tumblr in the more 'amusement and humour' side of bloggers.

It's true meaning is unknown but it is confirmed to have originated from a facebook post years ago by a teenage girl.

The word is mostly used as an exclamation or acknowledgement but can also be used a derogatory term.

person1: wow look at that yent wee over there, ew.

Yenta Claus

Jewish folklore, a way cool older woman that's nice and really funny. She brings kids toys, especially us really good Jewish kids who Santa seems to forget, or who because we are Jewish, Santa isn't allowed to sneek into our houses by slipping down the chimney or if you live in an apartment with out a chimney altogether. Just don't tell Rabbi Ebenezer. Pretty please with icecream and sugar on top. I promise to be good all year if you let me believe.

Yenta Claus

She must be some sort of Golem or my Bubbie dressed up as one. I really like her. She brings Jewish kids, well and anyone who else who believes in her too I guess, really nice toys and stuff just like Santa Claus only she is Jewish!

I saw Zaddie kissing Yenta Claus while she was noshing on latkes!
