A word used a lot in Boston, Massachusetts.

It’s basically saying what’s happening?, or what are the plans for today.

(In texting- “wtw”)
Friend 1:“Yo, I got a free crib what’s the word?”

Friend 2: “Ight word, I’m boutta swing thru with the budand the rollies”

Friend 1: “Bet”

What's the F? 

It means you asking someone what is the temperature outside or inside. Can be "What's the C" for Celsius areas. (Or even K, if you wanted.)

Response ends with the actual temp. but you just say the number and 'F' at the end.
Dave: Hey dude what's the F?
Steve: It's 75 F.

A phrase that can be used in any situation and is generally the solution to all of life's problems.
Jo : Bro. What's the scene?
Bro: Chilling. What's your scene, bro?
Jo: My scene is to make the scene. Let's have a scene?

What's the skinny 

A request for the short version (skinny version) of a story or event.
What's the skinny on that bank robbery downtown today?
3 guys shot up the place and made off with 3 mill in cash.

a way of asking someone what is going on. usually used when asking what someone is doing that evening.
