Land of da TRILL

Port Arthur, Texas. This title was given to the city for being the first area to use the word TRILL that was made popular by the rap group U.G.K. It has since been used to represent Texas as a whole. Port Arthur is still known as the original land of da TRILL.

We just left Louisiana and we are headed to the land of da TRILL.

Devil's Trill Sonata

A difficult song written by the composer, Giuseppe Tartini. Tartini had a dream one night where he got Satan to work for him. In the dream Tartini handed the devil his violin expecting him to play some pretty tunes. The devil started playing this master sonata intsead. After waking up from the dream, Tartini tried his best transcribing what he heard onto paper and thus, he wrote the Devil's Trill Sonata. Although, Tartini did say that what he managed to write down will never be nearly as mesmerizing as what the devil played in his dream

Built in 2003 at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, it is TRULY the greatest "stratacoaster" ever built. 420 feet high, 120 m.p.h. in 4 seconds, first hill= 90 degree lift with twist before the crest, last drop= 90 degrees down at 120 m.p.h. Cars are configured as Top Fuel Drag Racing cars with seatbelts and lap restraints only- no harness. Two cameras on first and final straight-a-aways. Truly, truly awesome ride.

Top Thrill Dragster makes people either scream with delight or sit frozen in their seats.
