Phantom Text Syndrome

A new syndrome spreading among the teens of America, where a vibration is felt from the pocket holding a phone. Once the phone is checked, it turns out there was never a text.

Teenager-"Doctor, It seems that Im always feeling a vibration coming from my cell phone pocket. What could possibly be wrong with me."
Doctor- "Hmmm, It seems you may have Phantom Text Syndrome"

unable-to-text-back syndrome

Being a bloke I have to say this is actually what GIRLS do. They feel the need to play "hard to get" and therefore don't text back, though usually it'll be after a couple of texts so it doesn't look too obvious.

Me: I was texting Becca earlier
My Mate: Cool, how'd it go?
Me: Ok for about half an hour, then she turned on the old unable-to-text-back syndrome
My Mate: Tut, of course...

Text Deficiency Syndrome

A disease in which someone takes an unusually long time to respond to a text. This is normally characterized with a response length of 10+ minutes

Sometimes abbreviated 'TDS', text deficiency syndrome can be tested for and diagnosed fairly easily with today's technology.

Guy #1: "Hey, I think Jennifer may like you, do you think you are going to pursue her?"

Guy #2: "I don't know man, I sent her a text over an hour ago and still haven't gotten a response yet. I'm pretty sure she has text deficiency syndrome."

Guy #1: " Yeah, I don't think I could ever date a girl with TDS".

Drunk text tourettes syndrome

When you have zero control over the text messages that you are sending. And you continue to text with no response stating all kinds of ridiculous things to the person. Do to your inebriated state. And typically in the morning you have zero recollection of saying the things you did.

"Hi! I'm an astronaut". " You tool you are not responding to me" " You want to have intercourse.??" Still no response"??? "I hate you". "I love you". Next morning... Hi!! I appologize I have drunk text tourettes syndrome and I have zero control over what i say or do.
