Tee Shirt Time

This is applied to the show Jersey Shore, where it means the following: when Vinny, Situation, Pauly, and Ronnie go out to a club, they prepare what shirt they want to wear ahead of time. In order to not ruin the shirt while they wait for the girls to finish getting ready, they wear wife beaters or man tank tops. When everyone is ready to go, it's TEE SHIRT TIME, and they put on the shirts that they picked out for the club.

Is everybody ready to go clubbing? That means it's tee shirt time!

Originally dating back to the Vietnam War. When one's rotation date (leave the country) was near, one lost focus on still being a soldier, and became a liability instead of an asset. Also, the period of time at the end of the 12th grade, when one has already been accepted into a college or the military, and is just waiting for the Senior Prom and Graduation ceremonies.

I wonder if Simon Cowell is getting short-timer's syndrome on American Idol?

Term used by the cast of "MTV's Jersey Shore" or MVP: Mike Vinny Pauly. T-Shirt Time is when you're sitting in the living room in your white beater or any colored tank top before actually putting on your shirt. In other words... "It's the shirt before the shirt."
