Shafta

Arabic slang for a Pod System (Juul / Novo / Mylè). Popular in Saudi Arabia in places such as the British school and other international schools. Shappley is another word for Shafta, made popular by the trend setters of the “Jeeb Shappley” group.

Tattay shaat

Derived from the word "tattay" or balls or testicles. "Shaat" is slang for short circuit. Analogous to two balls being short circuited together like two wires. Used to define a situation when something goes terribly wrong with someone.
