The nickname Rockashellar was created by a husband who realized that his wife (Shelly) has a very refined and extravagant taste for the many pleasures that money can buy. She was born to live life to the fullest and enjoy the best of everything the world has to offer. No dear she was not born a Rockefeller, but she is THE Rockashellar!

Husband says: Honey how much did you spend today at the mall?

Wife says: Spend? Oh sweetie you know I don't pay attention to such little things as price tags!

Husband says: That's my little Rockashellar!

Rockapella

An a cappella group started in 1986 at Brown University by David Stix, Steven Keyes, Sean Altman, and Elliott Kerman solely for their love of music.

Still around today, though none of the original members remain in the group, they are best known for their stint on the show Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? and a highly successful Folgers Coffee commercial. Their CD Don't Tell Me You Do arguably brought them the most national respect.

Rockapella is arguably the most popular a cappella group out there today.

Rockabilly

Rockabilly is not a style it's a way of life.

Rockabilly started out as an underground subcultured music before the birth of Rock 'n' Roll in the 1950's. It was then revived in the 1980's with bands such as The Stray Cats and The Polecats.

Rockabilly is classed as a mondern day 1950's style. But it's roots go much deeper.

You can notice a Rockabilly Guy by there Slicked Quiffs, Turn-Ups and Engineering Boots or Converse.

Girls usually wear the same but with a Quiff, Bettie Paige fringe or Curled hair.

There are several weekenders dedicated to this lifestyle that Thousands of people from around the world attened.

Being interested in the 1950's and Rockabilly is not just about dressing like they did, but also about changing your lifestyle. Listening to only 19-40's to early 1960's music.

It's one heck of a way to live though!

Rosabella
