Patient Zero is the first human infected by a new or recently discovered viral or bacterial outbreak. They usually have the most basic, least mutated form of the disease, which may either make them invaluable to medical efforts or completely useless. They can also often be used to determine where the disease came from.

Drummers patience

The patience displayed by a drummer when he/she only gets to play a small percentage of the time in a practice (i.e. fifteen minutes out of four hours) because the melodic instruments can't figure out the chords. This is often confused with 'drummers syndrome', which is when the drummer is blamed for having ADD, but if you read the above discription, ADD is not the case.

Drummers patience is displayed when; the drummer counts off...."1,2,3.." guitarist says, "wait! Is it C to A or.." bassist, "No no, it's C to C sharp..isn't it?" the keyboardist, " NO, it's C for two measures then..." At this point the drummer starts to play on his own, or puts the sticks down and walks away.

Cheekbone polishing parties

What most people think Benedict Cumberbatch, Matt Smith and Tom Hiddleston have together, due to their well-defined cheekbones. (NOTE: Another post on Tumblr said that Colin Morgan joins them as a member of the Fellowship of Cheekbones, but that is not the focus of this definition.)

The entire thing began when someone asked Benedict during his Reddit AMA "Do you, Matt Smith and Tom Hiddleston have cheekbone polishing parties?"
Benedict's response was "We like nothing better than buffing our Zygoma. And imagining a horny time traveling long overcoat purple scarf wearing super sleuth nordic legend f**k fantasy. Get to work on that, internet."

This promptly set everyone trying to draw out what they thought the parties looked like and generally the spontaneous combustion of the Internet. Tom Hiddleston's reaction was epic as well, but II'm not going to bore you with it. You can look it up yourself. Ehehehe.

person 1: Damn, those cheekbones look sharper by the day. HIDDLESTON STOP FREAKING RUINING MY LIFE WITH YOUR CHEEKBONES! YOU TOO CUMBERBATCH! SMITH STOP LOOKING SO INNOCENT, YOU'RE GUILTY TOO! (screaming at pictures)

me: ...of course they ruin your life with just their cheekbones, I've experienced it too. Judging by these pictures, they've just had some more cheekbone polishing parties.

Patience

Literally the best fucking person ever. Patience is someone you will always love and will always miss whether you like it or not. She has the best fucking personality, and is more attractive than anyone you will ever meet. You will really love this person, more than anyone else. Be thankful if you ever meet one. She can be petty and insensitive at times, but chances are she's aware of it. Don't get on a Patience's bad side, or she will literally bite your head off. Don't argue with a Patience if you can avoid it, because she really likes winning. She's an evil bitch, but you might love that.
