Hotel Parachuting

Going to a hotel without a reservation, then making friends with someone in the bar so you can sleep with them.

Staying overnight in New York City. Don't have reservations or much money, so I guess I will be hotel parachuting again.

academic parachuting

when academic groups come in to do community outreach in an attempt to rescue or save impoverished communities however the work is considered lack luster or has not real value to the intended community only the value is perceived by the academics.

We are tired of universities coming in and preforming academic parachuting with no lasting impact.

A troll or other miscreant who jumps into an online group or forum, usually to push a view that is contrary to that prevailing in the group. They usually melt away when asked to provide evidence, citing 'bullying'. Often extremely smug and rather stupid.

A parachutist landed in our FB group today to 'educate' us all about how we are wrong about absolutely everything, ever.

parachutin

1. the upward thrust of pants after a very powerful fart or release of ass gases.

Background: My friend and I were sitting around when he had to pass some gas while wearing very loose fitting pants. The deep bass was only surpasses by the upward 'fluff' of the pants which settled back downward after the thrust of ass gas.

That guy had some powerful parachutin erruption, I'd say it almost broke through his pants.
