Noun: a self-identified expert on memes, and always knows when to use the right one in theoretically every situation. They are often seen in their natural habitat, the Internet, viciously pointing out when a Plebian incorrectly uses a meme.

"You used the wrong meme, you fucking idiot. Trust me, I'm a memeotologist."

"As a memeotologist, I would say this moment calls for a Scumbag Stacey. You're such a bitch."

Pronounced mem-ee-oh-log-i-cal.
(adj) Of or relating to the origin of a concept or idea that specifically arose from meme culture.

Although Spongebob was an excellent show, much of the humor surrounding the show today has memeological roots in various image boards and social media such as imgur, 4chan, Facebook, etc.

Much of millennial humor can be spoken of through a memeological lens.
