legroom warrior

a person, or persons, who in an enclosed space, such as a bus or a plane or a car or a couch, jostle for space and legroom, perhaps finally coming to blows

F-16's escorted a United Airlines passenger plane today, because a couple of legroom warriors came to blows. The legroom war began after one passenger lowered the back of his chair too far for the second passenger's liking.
