Komi is a republic located in Western Russia. It's capital is Syktyvkar. It's also known for being a playable nation in The New Order, an alternate-history mod about a world where Germany wins World War II and faces in a three-way cold War against the United States and Japan.

Eric: "I just downloaded The New Order. Which country should I play as?"
Steve: "Play as Komi and elect Sergey Taboritsky."
