To detach yourself from "Google's grip" on your Web life.

To stop using services by Google and removing information associated with them.
A good thing to do.

Person 1: "Why are you not using Google Drive, or G-Mail or anything like that?"

Person 2: "It is part of my De-Googlification process. I promised my wife I would quit."

Cricket terminology: for when a spin bowler bowls a ball out of the back of his hand which spins the opposite way to the way it normally spins. (I think it's actually spelt googly but pronounced the same.)

One who is always googling. One who relies on google to find the answer or explanation for every question or conversation brought to their attention.

Nick: I wonder if that diet is healthy for your body.
Holly: I dont know, but I'll Google it.
Michelle: Holly your such a good Googlizer...

Googlized

The act of pranking a co-worker in an office area. You will change their desktop background, mess with their belongings, computer accessories, etc. This act will usually be performed while the co-worker is away from their workstation

Co-worker leaves their workstation, you will then change their desktop background to something else....this means you've been googlized.

Change the mouse right click to left click...you've been googlized.

Change the computer monitor order...you've been googlized.

Any domain, article, or person that has some mark, ownership, or direct access/link to Google, Inc.

I figured I'd make myself look cool to all my nerdy subjects by placing a Google query bar on my now googlified website.
