flashsideways

Similar to a flashback or flashforward but shows events that would transpire if a character's life would have turned out differently than what happened in the original timeline.

This concept was first started in the 6th season of the tv series Lost.

Guy1: "Man, imagine what my life would be like in a flashsideways timeline if Emily didn't break up with me?"

Guy2: "I know man, I know. Just let the tears out!"

flashfriend

A summer love but within the realms of platonic friendship. A close, fun friendship that is great for a season but soon evaporates into the cloud of memories that is, "what once was".

A flashfriend is someone you spend every day and night with for all of 3-6 months; hanging out, watching movies, talking about every subject known to man, etc... As soon as soon as the above mentioned time period ends, they disappear. You simply wave to one another from across the hall in passing and wonder what happened.

Flashfight

Using torches/flashlights as a weapon and fighting. It is not dissimilar to fencing/sword fighting, but is more common amongst guards or nighttime tourists.
