To fall into a very sleepy or sleeping state, a wasted kind of state, often after smoking too much.

If someone was to fall asleep with their head in a bowl of porridge, they could be said to have "fettled hard".

Fettle juice

When you take a little bit of all the alcohol in your parents house and mix it together, usually adding some juice or squash. Drinking it leads someone to fettel which means throwing up everywhere
