Evanston: A police state rich town full of untroubled yuppies where the police are so bored they creep around at night looking for traffic ticket violations to rape poorer people with. The Evanston City Hall people are a bunch of obnoxious pricks too. DO NOT MOVE HERE if you don't want CONSTANT traffic tickets or to suffer nothing but police harassment with your car. Seriously.

2) A name for an attitude that can be adopted by someone even after you've known them for a long time. Very often happens outside of Evanston, but was named after the town because it was first observed in a person from Evanston. They tend to abandon friends suddenly for new groups. Not quite pure meanness or coldness, but somewhere in between the two. Insincerity mixed with a dash of rudeness and the ability to be effortlessly annoying is as close to summing it up as one can come.

The only cool city north of Chicago. Has decent looking downtown and is not all uppity like the other north shore suburbs. Home of Northwestern University

A North Shore suburb of Chicago that has great appeal only for adult residents. When it comes to education for K-12 students, however, its school system is primarily less-than-lackluster. The city attempts to lie to new residents with children about its so-called "excellent public school system", and new students become excited with high hopes of a diverse, large, enthusiastic and intellectual school, and only arrive to find the opposite.
Man, I'm glad that my family has found a great place in Evanston, next to the lake and a nice park in a fantastic upper scale neighborhood, yet going to high school here is so sucky.

A small town in the southwest corner of Wyoming of about 12,000. Only 3 miles from the Utah Border. A very nice small town even though all the people from Utah go there to buy Alcohol and Fireworks.

It’s when the upperclassmen on the Northwestern University football team lather themselves up in the team shower , then stand in close quarters at the entrance to said shower and make poor performing underclassmen squeeze through them naked to get in the shower.
Those poor freshmen football players at NU were forced to run the gauntlet through the Evanston Car Wash for several years under coach Fitzgerald.
