When the writer, songwriter, or prevalent actor inserts the self into a work they are not cut out for, talent-wise.

Named after English actor and talk show host James Corden because of the popular belief that he does not possess the ability to be in all the movie musicals that he, inevitably, stars in.

Lin Manuel Miranda is the embodiment of The James Corden effect, no one wants him there but he’s there because he created it.

cordonis

the state of being very cool and relaxed, and a bad ass at the same time where everything is going good for you. Can be used as a nickname for someone as well. Usually refers to someone who uses words like filthy, dope, tight, uber and whatever else they want to say because they are well respected and good people. Cordonis is better than swag and not overused. The word comes from the last name of a well respected German family line that was well known for their care-free and desirable lifestyle.

Often used as a twitter hashtag i.e. "sleeping in and then some saturday college football #cordonis.

Hawaii is a great place to get my cordonis on!

Cordelia Chase

Cordelia Chase is a popular character featured on Buffy The Vampire Slayer and it's spin-off Angel. Cordelia began as a spoiled, self centered, sarcastic rich girl who had it all and wasn't impressed by Buffy Summers. She became a part of the original "Scooby Gang" and was romantically involved with Xander Harris. After her parents were arrested for Tax Evasion, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. In Los Angeles she teams up with Angel and his new ally Doyle. Together they form Angel Investigations. Cordelia becomes a more complex character on the series "Angel" and eventually became the main love interest for Angel.

Cordelia Chase is one of the most popular girls in Sunnydale.

She is that girl who wears flared pinstripe trousers to sixth form because she so cool and quirky. She either has beautiful blonde hair or silky dark hair and will always have her eye makeup on POINT!!! She is clever and creative at the same time and she will live on to be a successful young women. She loves going to raves and parties but also takes her education very seriously. Not only do all the teachers love her but she is popular with everyone in her year. Cordelia is very intellectual and creative and will live on to a very exciting and busy life.
