BFWOC is an acronym which stands for Best Friends Without Consent. BFWOC originates from the judicial term T.W.O.C. (Taking without consent) which pertains to theft of automobiles. BFWOC occurs when one person asserts that he/she is the other persons best friend, although the target person does not agree and/or has misrepresented themselves to be in the other persons favor. Basically, to eradicate the ability of another persons right to choose their own best friend.

A phrase first coined in New Zealand in the early 90's by Polynesians to differentiate new arrivals (immigrants) from the old country (Tonga, Samoa, etc) from those with a Western upbringing. Now commonly used to describe any person new to a country, who is not well versed with its language or culture (mainly Western). Can be taken as an insult, or a term of endearment (eg; pride of culture).

They often dress in the most expensive clothing possible and favour BMW 325s and Mercedes SLKs. These are further appointed with a variety of Hello Kitty(TM) or other Japanese cute-and-cuddlies. They often have really bizarre english names taken from they think "sounds cool."
