Architorture

A delightful word that appears—in the same breath—to mean both the crushing weight of the years of study required to achieve a degree in the field, and the crushing impact of that same degree—seemingly mere moments later—on the former simplicity and elegance of urban landscapes.
"Ten years in Architorture School," he exclaimed, "and this is what it's come to!" And his neighbors enthusiastically agreed.
