Aliya

This girl is a beautiful wait no gorgeous princess and you should treat her like one! She is shy but will soon realize that and burst out of her bubble. She is definitely a keeper and a good kisser. But she is very selective of her men and has very high standards. She is also amazingly talented! If she wants something she will do anything to have it. She is a hard worker and cares about her friends. Even if they betrayed her she will do her best to help them in their time of need. Usually an Aliya will go for older guys. She is very mature and likes to think she is way older than she is. She likes to be in charge and be in control. An Aliya is the kind of girl who will always care even if it's hard not to. She loves being cuddled and loves everyone....... Well almost everyone. If you ever get a chance to date her take it! No matter the circumstances she will always be with you and love you. But she is scared of being hurt. For many people have broken her heart in the past. But all of that aside she is very strong, caring, loving, nice, strong, and will try her hardest to be the best.

Aleyah

A headstrong and beautiful girl. Aleyahs are usually found to be breathtakingly beautiful. They have the face that make heads turn twice. But aside from their physical attributes, Aleyahs are very easy-going and confident people. They are generous and sweet, but they could also be temperamental and moody. But do not be intimidated by the negative traits, Aleyahs just tend get sad or angry easily, but they also bounce back right after. They have this clear statement in their heads that Life is too short for sulking around. They tend to be fun and carefree usually, especially when found in a good mood. But since the name derived from the word, "Leo" they have some sort of fire in them which makes 'em strong and capable of leading. They could be intimidating and obnoxious at times, but trust me when I say you will always have fun when you're with an Aleyah. They are the sort of people who do what they want. They just have too much sunshine to stand in someone else's shadow.

Alyana

She's so beautiful inside and out. She makes everybody in the room's jaw drop the second she walks in. She will never understand how beautiful she is, but I really wish she would, because it hurts that someone so gorgeous sees themselves as anything less. If anyone she's friends with and even complete strangers say one thing bad about themselves she automatically tried to make you feel better and tells you it's not true. She has the most adorable curly hair, although she doesn't like it at times. She makes everyone happy deep down and I really wish she knew how much I cared for her. And how much I honestly love her. Once you're friends with her we'll always care for you. She's the most amazing person and I wish she'd understand how gorgeous she is.

Aliyah

A cute, funny and loveable girl. She is almost always laughing and loves to make others laugh. She loves to be the center of attention and is a people's person. She dislikes being alone. Aliyah's may sometimes get distracted while completing tasks. She loves animals. She would rather have a few very close friends than a handful of friends. She is an amazing person and is an excellent friend.

Friend: I wish I could be closer to Aliyah she's so much fun to be around she's always telling jokes.

A term of affection for a female and more particularly a Chicano, thought to have origins in the Rio Grande Valley area of Texas. Though sometimes mistakenly thought to be in reference to illicit activities, it is nothing of that sort. Similar to a "ride or die", an alya is a fierce, fiery, and extremely loyal female friend.
