Not A Relationship 

Usually referred to as a NAR.
Pronounced: gnar as in the first half of gnarly

Def: When 2 people are seeing one another on a regular basis for a lengthy amount of time they usually can be give the title. This couple will act as if they are in a relationship, but will not call each other “boyfriend/girlfriend,” but may use pet names such as “honey, baby, snookums, ect”

This word can be used up to the extreme of 2 people cohabitating for many years, having kids, mixing bank accounts; at this point it would be referred as a Not A Marriage.
Patrick: Ruby and Zeph are always together, they are hanging out all the time. I think he is taking her to Thanksgiving dinner!
Sheena: So are they an item?
Patrick: No, its just a NAR (Not A Relationship)! I asked them about it last night.

Palpatine A Relationship 

'Palpatine A Relationship' is a term used to describe the act of carefully planning, executing, and manipulating other people's relationships to suit your own desires. Such as planning the demise of your friends relationship so you can date his girl.
Kos: Dude, why did Steve break up with his girl?

Milky: Bro, John manipulated Steve into breaking up with her so he could date his girl!

Kos: Ah, I've seen this before, he totally just pulled a 'Palpatine A Relationship' on Steve.

To be involved with someone for an extended amount of time. To conceive children with this person. No legal commitment has been made.
I am in a relationship and have kids with someone but not engaged or married to this person.

To lie about a relationship
Person 1: Did you know Felicity jelled a relationship?
Person 2: I knew it!

On A Relationship 

Not being in a relationship with someone because on of you is not read, but you want to me in one with that person.
Sierra: What’s up with you and Steve?
Nicole: We are on a relationship because I broke up with Tom a week ago.

Stages of a Relationship 

The different stages of a relationship. A method of predicting what stage a relationship is at, or for determining when a relationship will form, end etc.

These stages are always changing and new stages are always emerging, therefore the stages include but are not limited to:
- Genesis Stage
- Midpoint Stage
- Advancement Stage
- Turbulence Stage
- Decline Stage

Colleague: How? How did you know that they would break up around this time?
Professor Love Dickinanus: I noticed tension between them when they started dating, so I used my method called the Stages of a Relationship to determine when their relationship would cease to exist.
