Rachel is a really excellent person!! She has excellent music and book and movie taste along with her talent for playing instruments and singing. All the boys are star struck when they meet her, and all the girls want to be her friend and are jealous and often have burn battles to impress her but she tells them to stop and love themselves. Like a lot of the definitions here, someone is rachet if they are undesirably trashy in a ghetto sort of way. Where this term comes from is it's a rhyme (perhaps a mis-hearing) of "wretched."
