Vortex Chug

(an Australian slang term, used by young men in Northern Queensland) The act of spinning a bottled beverage to create a "vortex" inside the bottle, and, while maintaining a fast spin on said bottle, inverting it into ones mouth, promptly draining the beverage at near warp speed.

this method is used if you need to down a lot of a specific liquid in a very short amount of time

Pseudo Chug

The action of taking a large bottle of hard liquor-usually vodka, and pretending to "chug" the bottle by making that swallowing movement with your throat. This is usually performed by desperate teens trying to impress a girl or the party animals.

Spin-off from "mug shot", a chug shot is a picture of someone "chugging" a beverage (often alcoholic in nature). These images are mostly seen uploaded to social networking web sites for people to make themselves look cool. Unfortunately, these snapshots of a great time could hinder the person's credibility if viewed by prospective employers.

1. Bob was about to land a great job with Boeing, right out of college, until the HR department searched his name and saw his chug shot from last weekend. They hired Steve instead. Bob is now forced to live with his parents and work for Home Depot.
