Sleep Shutting

You close your laptop lid during sleep and don't remember it when you wake up.

You fall asleep watching a tv show on your laptop with the lid up on your laptop so you can see the screen, you wake up in the morning with the lid down. You have closed the lid during your sleep but when you wake up don't remember doing it.

Sleep Shutting has the same effects as sleep walking.

Compton scattering

What a white guy in an Enyce or Fubu outfit that doesn't do anything but listen to Ice Cube and Ice T records all day would do if he was really in Compton, every time, any time.

I've just been laying here bleeding out like a lamb since the Compton scattering incident, scared to get up again. They just got so mean since we fell out, they're bad seeds and they've been scaring me lately. They got me looking over both shoulders.

When a person is exposed to gross incompetence on a repetitive basis to such an extent that they themselves undergo a dramatic and sudden decrease in their own competence.

Etymology: First used in the early 21st century, it is believed to be a colloquial inversion of "The Quickening" from The Highlander science fiction series in which, when one nearly-immortal highlander defeats another, they gain all knowledge and power possessed by their vanquished opponent.
