Personality Glasses 

Personality glasses are glasses that a person doesn't actually need, but wears anyway because they think the glasses make them look cooler or smarter.

Personality glasses are usually either thin and stylish to make the wearer look classy, or are way too thick and out there in order to make the wearer seem edgy and interesting.

Example One:
Person 1: Wow, those are such cute glasses! I wonder where she got them.
Person 2: She doesn't actually need those.
Person 1: Ohhh, they're personality glasses.

Example Two:
Person 1: Look at that tool, those are obviously personality glasses.

Person 2: Yeah, you can tell by the way they don't actually have glass.
