"GG" stands for "good game." It is customary to say "gg" when you finish playing to inform the other players that you are quitting and not coming back. Usually people say "gg" when they quit no matter if they are winning or losing. And other players usually reply by saying "gg" also.

"Get Good" a phrase often confused with "gg" "ggs" or "good game" and is used with the single purpose of indirectly insulting ones self or opponent. Added insult occures when the opponent believes the phrase said is meant in good sportsmanship, but by all means, it is meant to humiliate the opponent even further.
