They are street smart and tough and if has to be -"violent," to "defend" and ward off the outside influence to the younger generation they are raising! They handle their business and take care of their family, with normal jobs, and teach the kids the right morals day in day out. "fearless"of "anyone"who tries to teach the kid the wrong way. And is also ready to fight, kill or die for the "right" thing. To not coward in the face of adversity. The word "goat" is used as a "sports term" (greatest of all time) -the "family" of the man/woman is the persons team! Its literally all they work for, teach for, struggle for, so the kids can have a better life. An achiever even in the ghetto! against the urban city bullshit and showing that you can still bring up tough,strong, youth. For the most part, these legends have respect. Because they were able to keep their shit in line, dont get kids taken by CPS, and is lawyal to their FAMILY 100 percent. Alot of "stepped up" parents who take care of CPS kids are ghetto GOATS!They proved to be able to take care of the their kids or family by doing the right thing regardless of the outside influences.
