bower-bird bed-buddy

A considerate dude who frequently/diligently tidies/smoothes/re-adjusts the blankets/pillows while canoodling in bed with you, just as the well-known feathered grass-walled-nest dweller does to please a female who drops in to visit.

Tiffany always appreciates my being a bower-bird bed-buddy, since it feels so much more pleasant to sleep with me if the blankets are always neat and uniformly covering us, especially during the cooler seasons.

Waxing the bed

The act of taking some form of tape or another sticky substance, putting it across your bed, and pulling it up to get off un-wanted hair. The hair usually belongs to a pet, and is caused by the pet shedding while they sleep/lay with you on your bed.

"Dude, my dog slept with me on my bed last night. I spent a good 30 minutes this morning waxing the bed."

"I'm waxing the bed. My cat decided to lay in it when I was gone, and sheds a lot.

bed hobo

A bed hobo is a person, whom once in bed, can’t get up and refuses to do ANYTHING for themselves.

Example of a bed hobo “I have no legs, I have no legs while clicking together empty dishes Piled by the bedside and looking longingly at a partner”

Another example of a bed hobo is someone who wakes up a sleeping partner, who has legs, to get up and get them ice cream or any other snack in the night.

A bed hobo will collect garbage around one side of the bed and then pass the garbage to a partner whenever they are getting up to go for a pee in the night.

Bed hobos may be unaware or very self aware and well strategized.

Some are sneaky and will gather up bed garage (Empty ice cream containers, bowls, drinks, cheese) on your side of the bed and claims it’s yours. Saying “you need to clean up after yourself” Hehehe

I was just at thanksgiving with my husband and he called me a bed hobo
