In Temple of the Elemental Evil, Vecna is the god of treachery and lies.

Vecna

A villain of the upside-down appearing in "Stranger Things" Season 4 and the game "Dungeons & Dragons". Vecna is a monster born of hatred for the human race and seeks vengeance by killing people one by one in a gruesome fashion. Each killing adds to his power and the only known way to escape death from Vecna is by listening to a favorite song. This is proven when Sadie Sink's character, Max Mayfield, narrowly dodges her fate after her friends play "Running Up That Hill" by Kate Bush in her ears.
