Usually caused by prolonged work on belt lines in a mine causing fatigue and depression on the workforce.

A thought that only crosses your mind on Sunday nights. A feeling of dismay, anger, helplessness, butterflies,and overall depression to the thought of attending work/and or school the next day-Monday.

The Blues

1. A state of depression which becomes the norm after you've spent your whole life being a slave or a sharecropper or another shitty occupation.

2. The result of somebody with the aforementioned problem picking up an instrument and singing about it.

3. A specific chord progression that originated in the 19th Century in the American South from black slaves with the problem mentioned in (1) and the talent mentioned in (2).

Jim the sharecropper was angry at the white man for keeping him down all his life, so he picked up his guitar and became a traveling man, playing The Blues wherever he went.

Moody Blues

A British pyschedelic/progressive rock band from the '60s that is often overlooked for other bands such as Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Genesis, and Electric Light Orchestra. Their signature sound was due to Mike Pinder with his Mellotron and Ray Thomas with his flute. The Moody Blues was the first rock band to feature a flute as a main instrument, not Jethro Tull, and the first rock band to record an album with an orchestra.

The most famous Moody Blues song is Nights In White Satin.
