The phenomenon when the postal service stops working because your mail carrier refuses to do his one job and deliver your mail. Not even post office management knows why he hasn't been fired yet.

You: "I was expecting a package today, where is it?"
Your roommate: "Idk man, we had no mail today. My paycheck is missing too, we must've gotten ezra'd again"

You: "Hi post office clerk, I'm here to pick up my mail"
(ten minutes of waiting)
Clerk: "I looked everywhere, it's not in the building. Your mail got ezra'd, check back next week, we have no idea where that sob put it this time"

Postmaster: "I keep filling out the 5500 form to fire Ezra but the forms just get ezra'd somehow"
