(used figuratively) a street that is extremely steep. It comes from Baldwin Street that lies in Dunedin, New Zealand that is claimed to be the steepest street in the world. It is 359 metres in length and it is said that going up the street is like climbing a concrete wall.

Street smart

Don't you really hate it when somebody starts describing themself or somebody else as street smart when you know that they know deep down that they could describe themself as more than just plain street smart without people thinking they were egotistical and pompous?

Ask yourself whether even Tupac wouldn't be able to call himself street smart enough, and if even he wouldn't do it, and you are from the part of Kansas way past Kansas City, (Missouri or Kansas) or somewhere just like parts of Kansas way past Kansas City, why would you get on a National Geographic show about prison with a pseudonym and claim to be street smart when you know it isn't you, it's just an image you want (but you still think it's as hilarious to everyone else as it is to you what you're saying and doing)?

Adelaide street, is a street in the north end of the city of St John, NB, Canada. It is largely known as a haven for drug addicts, slum housing, and places to purchace illegal drugs or firearms. Adelaide street is also a haven for dangerous people, whom are prone to sudden outbursts of violence.
