Twomp nine is referred to as the 209 area code in Northern California. Twomp is a slang word used for twenty, the first person we heard refer to it as this term is Yoey The Fundraiser a local rapper from the area who really illustrates life in Stockton, Modesto, Merced and many other cities from the area code. The 209 area code has more cities than any other area code surrounding it.

They unify us together as cities and blocks but i see past that, when people ask me where I'm from I simply tell them the twomp nine
