Fosston

A small town in rural Minnesota known for its DQ and A&W. It boasts a very large industrial park of the county garbage incinerator, and a sugar plant. The most prominent business is Palubickis Super Market, a store full of overpriced stuff that is slowly trying to put every other store out of businesses. Other notable features include plenty of lakes that you can't swim in, Cornwood Pete, farmers, a waste lagoon built way too close to town, and a swamp.

Person 1: Hey, we should stop to eat somewhere.
Person 2: How about that DQ in Fosston?
Person 1: Sure.

Pocket Fossil

A term used for what used to be a receipt of purchase or whatever piece of paper was left in a pocket prior to washing.
The subsequent product is a hard clump of white material.
Sometimes with undecipherable writing, only hinting at what useful information it used to hold.

Uh... sorry I forgot I put your number in a pair of jeans I just washed and is now a pocket fossil.
