Fan Fodder

Intentionally adding a scene/moment in a story to appease fans of the material (movie/book/tv-show). It is typically seen as a bad thing as it serves no real value to the story as a whole. Similar to the phrase, 'fan service'.

Albus Severus Potter is total fan fodder.

a character in a show or movie who has multiple implied or directly stated love interests. this character is usually very attractive and also not the main character. they usually exist either to give the audience someone to thirst over or someone to ship aggressively with every single character they come into contact with.

A: do you like shoto todoroki from mha?
B: nah, he gives me ship fodder vibes
