Tactical Dan

A military term for a person or soldier that buys a bunch of cool looking but useless combat related gear, in a misguided effort to make them a better soldier or their time in the field easier. This person may or may not also be a PX Ranger.

Whoa, look at the Tactical Dan over there. His rifle and pack look like they had a threeway with a swiss army knife. I'll bet that asshole leaves half that shit in the field on day 2.

Tactical Flush

Tactical Flush is a technique that helps prevent clogging of a toilet when one has an extraordinary bowel movement. To utilize this technique one must simply flush the toilet as they are releasing the poop. When doing so, the toilet does not give the poop a chance to settle and immediately sucks it away.

Tactical PM

Find the most jazz hands, meaningless, vague, fuckbag buzz word of the day thing - get assigned to it and then shove it in as many peoples faces as possible, convincing them they must adjust their productivity to your new assignment.

Keep communicating to executives as to all the coordination you are doing, while in reality it is just the damage control of others trying to get shit done as you have woven your problem around their axles.

Technician A: “Did you see that PM offload his Zero Trust Architecture delivery on to that team already worked to the bone? The executive are still trying to work out how he delivers so much whilst doing so little”

Technician B: “That’s a Tactical PM in action, full blown operator mode in effect”

When a team loses on purpose for an overall benefit long term.

Aims to set the team up as the underdogs so in the future other teams will think they can easily beat them. Once the other teams are too cocky it will be easier to beat them.
