It is a good word to use and if you use it you are trying to be very helpful and kind. There is absolutely no negativity or abuse in it. it is a helpful word which can also be used in a heated argument and can be helpful to diffuse something.

When you get fucking humbled by one of your friends and it was just to good for you to say anything back.

(Getting humbled is like someone tell you to sit down.)
