pleb filter

A controversial term with two definitions, but dumbasses will tell you there is only one.

1. A piece of entertainment or media which "filters out" the plebs, i.e. only plebs (uncultured or stupid people) dislike it.
This definition is by far the more commonly used of the two. However, there is also another definition that may occasionally be used; use context to discern whether this is indeed the case.
2. A piece of entertainment or media which "filters out" non-plebs, i.e. only plebs like it.

In either case, the term is used frequently on 4chan, and especially on boards like /tv/.

1. Anon 1: "Drive is a total pleb filter, the cinematography is kino."
2. Anon 2: "You're right, Drive is a pleb filter. People only like it because they think it makes them sophisticated."

Camel Filters

The first filtered line of Camel cigarettes. Same cigarette as the unfiltered Camels, just in the 50's when cigarettes were proved to cause cancer, comapanies started to add filters to their cigarettes to filter some of the toxins out of the smoke. It also alowed for a smoother smoke. R.J Reynolds Tobacco just decided to add a filter to the regular Camel cigarette, hence the name 'Camel Filters'.

The act of taking a shit, or a dump, in the airfilter of someones car, so that whenever the owner turns on the air-conditioning, or especially the heating, the car will spew out the vile smell of shit in the airfilter.

person1: My girlfriend just dumped me... iu wish i could get back at her.

person2: awe, thats a shame, she had a really nice car. hey! i just had a great idea!

person1: is it an evil revenge scheme to get back at her?

person2: lets take a dump in her car's air filter! her car will smell like shit for EVER!

"Status Fillers" are used by, but not limited to: bored college student, drunk sorority girl, Glenn Beck (all of Fox News actually), guidos, and all religions (they are most likely to quote something out of a fairy tale book)
