The sight has become popular among trolls, people who it does not directly insult, 4chan users and anyone mellow enough not to take it seriously. The website is often criticized for its racism, bigotry, extremely horrifying and unfriendly images and lack of real information. In defense those who use the sight claim to "do it for the lulz". Some of those "satired" by ED: Furries, Inflation fetishists, Jews, Blacks, Women, Nerds, Gamers, Penny Arcade, Wikipedia, People who don't like ED, Hamsters, Pedophiles et al.
