pred rage

"Pred rage" is a phrase used to describe rage and other emotional responses to the drug prednisolone (pred), a corticsteroid commonly used in the treatment of various chronic illnesses.

Pred rage may be worse when increasing or reducing doses of pred, and other than anger is also described as lack of tolerance and patience.

Don't go in there, she's got pred rage badly today!

SoaP Rage

An inherently defensive anger resulting from an attack on something that one holds an otherwise-irrational fondness for (i.e.: TV show, movie, song); usually driven by impulse and mob-mentality.

Name based on the overindulgent hype surrounding the movie "Snakes on a Plane" which many of your friends will probably tell you was great. It wasn't.

1: "Snakes on a Plane was an great movie and you are such a jerk for not thinking so."
2: "Quit that soap rage, you know it wasn't that good."

1: "That show House is so formulaic..."
2: "I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!"
1: "Quit soap-raging, you know I'm right."

Nerd Rage

When somebody who is declared by a majority, ''Nerd'' gets a sudden overcharge of rage for something that is either unuseful, irreavelent or stupid.

When Harry died because his guilde betrayed him in WoW, he got a nerd rage and smashed a hole in the wall.
