dot whack

a dot whack is a round sticker affixed to a direct mail piece with a special offer. Alternately, it is a printed sticker with a cast drop shadow to simulate a stickerized dot whack.

Dit Dot

A word, originating on Ocracoke Island, North Carolina, used to refer to tourists who have a hard time understanding the local "Hoi Toid" dialect. It has since spread throughout eastern North Carolina to refer broadly to ignorant tourists, especially yankees and city slickers.

"Eet's hoi toid, cahn't feesh, gutta eet marshed potaetoues."
"What'd you just say?"
"Nuttin, ya dit dot."

Tactical dot is an easy way to "save" or create a "shortcut"(if you comment to a website it adds in to your history) to a specific comment that you have questions in there. Usually to find the "sauce" of a picture or a video.
